It is a high-quality Fender instrument that does not take a back seat to any Strat by Fender. If I did not have a 1989 USA Strat, this one woul d remain in my stable. This Strat is made with only the best materials. If you are familiar with MIJ Fender guitars, you know the quality here. This beautiful guitar features a carved-radius top with cream-colored binding, ebony high gloss finish, plus a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard that sports 22 medium jumbo frets. This Aerodyne Strat features three Fender direct-mounted single-coil pickups and a traditional 5-way switch. Here you have Classic Fender Style with new and innovative designs. You can expect this Aerodyne to provide a full tone with plenty of Strat tone. I've had this guitar for a short while. I am not sure how to tell the year by the SN (seepic). I purchased this Fender from a 'player' buddy of mine. The MSRP was: $1,180.00 and it was on sale new for $949.00. There are a few small dings on the guitar (see guitar picks photos) and I've tried to show them in the pictures. This Fender is used but not abused. You on't see the 'marks' when you play it. I've been a 'player' for 43 years and I find this guitar to be in excellent plus condition. If the 'insignificant' marks distract you, please do not bid. According to the BB of Electric Guitars, I place this axe at excellent plus. However, since there are some 'tiny' marks as mentioned in description and shown in the pics, you may consider this guitar to be in excellent condition according to the Blue Book. There are some strum pick marks on pick-guard. There are nor mal signs of wear. Nothing mentions affects the play-ability of the guitar. There is a puck on the backside- see pic with guitar pick.
