Early 2000's Fender American Vintage Jazzmaster 62 Reissue. Guitar is in excellent shape. I had a very reputable tech go over this a few days ago to be sure I am not missing anything. The neck, electronics, volume and tone knobs, upper tone switches, tremolo, tuners have been inspected and were confirmed to be in excellent to like new condition. Very little playing time on this guitar which shows in the neck and body. Blemishes: 1) The back of this Jazzmaster has light markings from being laid on top of the strap in the case. I have been told that this could be buffed out, but I did not want to mess with it. The markings are only visible under a bright light at the right angle. I could not get a picture to show it because it is so light. The area is shown in Pic #7 and is about 8 inches in length by 2" wiede. I did not notice until the guitar tech inspected this for me. These markings are not on the neck or back plate. 2) There are two very small dings. One can be seen with a dime next to it (Pic #6) for reference at the base / bottom. The second is by the top strap peg. It cannot be seen in the picture because it is so small. There are very light surface scratches around the pick guard, but these are also barely visible. I have seen worse on guitars listed in brand new condition. &nbs p;3) The original tolex case (Fender) had three initials painted on it and then covered with brown paint. I made sure to include a pic so there are no suprises. With some matching paint, this could be made to look a lot better. The rest of the case and interior are in excellent condition. This guitar is in excellent shape with very little playing time. 100% original, no modifications. When I list guitars, I go into detail with any blemishes or marks.
