Gibson USA 2002 ES-137P (premier) these were made in 2002 with a limited production run of 50 per color. Nothing soulds like P-90's when combined with a mahogany center block as this instrument has.This instrument has a cosmetic issue but, sounds amazing and plays fantastic. At some point there was damage on the back (see photo 6 most likely rash). Someone did refinishing job on the sides and back of the body only. The neck is a full 60's neck with a functional truss rod and is straight and true. There are no cracks or repairs in the head stock which has vintage style tuners and excellent frets. The tune-o-matic bridge along with the center maple block make this instrument sings with long smooth sustain. If you are a fan of P90's then you know what they do. The front is fat and warm while the back has plenty of blues sting. When combining them you get a rainbow of sounds going deep into out of phase by rolling off the front pickup. If you are looking for a grea t deal on a fantastic instrument to play Blues, Jazz, Rock, Soul, or Rockabilly on you found it. The instrument was just set up with gauge 11-49 and intonated.
