Up for sale is my Fender Tele "Foto-Flame". They are very unique, made in Japan in 1994-95, the finish is a photographic film re-creation of wood flame which is laminated on the body and neck. No matter how hard you look, its impossible to tell its not real flame maple.It obviously differentiates itself from the traditional solid color Teles. They are considered excellent players. Tele config - covered single coil in the neck, single coil in the bridge, vintage hardware (3 string saddles), 1 volume, 1 tone, 3 way switch. These Fenders are made of basswood and have a maple or alder cap. Whatever folks think, these Japanese Fenders were extremely well made at the Fuji-gen plant. Even still has the ashtray cover.Comes in a older black hard shell case,with gold fur lining.The guitars condition is excellent.There are a few small dents in the back that look almost like blemishes in the lacquer.Very small amount of fret ware on the 1st few frets.(maybe 10%) Overall amazing looking feeling and sounding fender thats nearly 20 years old.
