The Gibson Les Paul has been synonymous with rock guitar since its inception in the 50's. Over the years, there has been a few tweaks to the original design- all of them cool. But, some people long for that classic Les Paul tone. The Traditional brings it all back. Featuring a mahogany weight relieved body(no chambers), this Traditional has that great presence and solid push. Of course, this guitar also has great low end and and cutting mids. Sucking up all this great woody tone are dual '57 Classics- a Plus in the bridge. These give you the tonal character of the PAF with a bit more output. The Classic Plus is perfect for crunchy rhythms and high octane leads. The Classic in the neck gives you just what you want- warm, syrupy, th ick sustain. Perfect. The neck here is a sweet '59 profile- thin enough for a fast feel but chunky enough to add to the overall tone. This lets you dig in for big bends or fly across with lightning lines. The look is incredible- gorgeous deep blue finish showing off the figured top, full body/neck binding, and chrome hardware. This Traditional is in exceptional condition- nothing to report. The frets are clean- just professionally set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret. This auction includes the original hardshell case and paperwork.
