This one of a kind Stratocaster started off as a USA made Hot Rod Strat. It sports a Nitro finish on the body and the custom fabricated neck. Every part has been reworked identically to the Hendrix era strats and promises not to dissapoint. It has had the pickguard replaced with a 65 repro (120 dollar s) that has the proper bevel angle and thick black line as opposed to the stock one that is a dead giveaway to its contemperary roots. This is a very well thought example and throws off even the most scrutinous critics. Checking is present noticeably on the body and subtley on the neck. It plays wonderfully, has little to no fretware and is a tonal masterpiece. It is also the closest you will get to a heavy relic under $2000 and ultimately closest you will get to a 1969 strat without selling one of your organs. . .
