The Candy Red was not a production color. It was a FSR (Fender Special Run). It has the original USA Texas Special pickups. This is not the typical MIM Tele that you will find in a retail store. The last 3 numbers in the serial # ("222") are the color code. There is no color code "222", and it was billed as "Natural" on the original invoice to the distributor. According to Fender, discrepancies like this are common with "Special Run" serial number documentation. This guitar is all original, and has NOT been refinished in the aftermarket.
