This is my personal guitar that has spent it's life in a smoke-free house (no outside gigs). Very solid 60th anniversary guitar with a deep walnut finish. The maple neck (with skunk stripe) is straight with a nice glossy warm hue, even though in the photos it comes across a bit pale. This Telecaster Deluxe is an example of many MIM Fenders looking and playing better than s ome MIA Fenders. A few years ago I added a high-end, custom made pick guard. It's Cream/Black/Cream (not white) so it has a vintage tint. I'm including the original B/W/B pick guard as well.  The pickups and switches are in good original working order. Fresh set of Ernie Ball 10's. Overall, this guitar is in great condition, but I have tried to photograph the few flaws that are inherent with a guitar that's been played almost every day. First, there is the expected light fret wear (see photos) along with some grime. Quite minor and nothing that effects the playability. Also, there are at least 3 small dings in the body. In the photos, they show up best in the picture of the strap button. On a solid-colored guitar these would be invisible, but because of the deep mirror finish they do show up upon close inspection. I am sure there are other little specks and scratches here and there that aren't showing up. Hopefully the pictures show this Tele in a good light. The h orizontal "stripes and knots" that on the back photo are actually ref lections from my wood ceiling. There's something about trying to photograph a glossy guitar: the flaws don't show up, but it looks like there are problems where there aren't any.I want you to feel confident in your purchase, so please ask any questions that I may not have covered here.
