Up for bid is a 1997 Fender Stratocaster Plus Deluxe . The serial number is N7220923. SUNBURST Finish. Goldie was born a Strat Plus Deluxe with tri-color Lace Sensors ( Blue in neck postition, Silver - middle, Red - bridge ) but the Pick guard had a couple issues so I bought a new one. Then I started thinking : What if I added Gold components to complement the Sunburst finish & Pearloid Pickguard ? Well hey buddy - off we went!! I Customized this Beauty. I replaced the Tuners, Bridge, Jack Plate, Neck plate, Strap Lugs & all the Pickguard & Pickup screws with GOLD components. Even went with a Gold Whammy Bar!! By the way, any reference to GOLD is the color not the precious metal. 　 If you are not familiar with the Strat Plus Series, please go to xhefriguitars.com. As will be mentioned alsewhere. Lace Sensors , Sperzel Locking Tuners ( Gold ), ( NO STRING TREES ON THESE ), LSR Roller Nut, TBX Tone Control, Micro-Tilt Neck Adjustment, Swimming Pool Routing. Whammy Bar ( Gold ) included. For a while I considered replacing the Tri-Color Lace Sensors for all GOLD, But the variety of tones on this Guitar as built has got too much of a WOW Factor. Plus if you have ever picked up several STRATS and played them back to back & one has that Special sound and that Extra SUSTAIN. Well this is that Guitar!! I am not a Dealer this Guitar is from my personal collection. For some reason my Wife says she needs some room in the closets & under the beds! 　 For an in hand inspection; Call Phone Number Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00 Central time. This guitar is in great condition with just a little playing wear. I tried but could not get the camera to pick up the wear on the edges. The only exception is the picture with the pick for size reference. A toothpick with a drop of nail polish would probably make it go away, but I'm not going to do that. There are a couple of scratches that look like a short piece of hair & a small ding ( not through the finish ) that you have to get the right light to see. All are in the Dark Burst on the edges. By the way, what appears to be a small dot on the top/front of the Guitar in picture One is light reflection. Taking good pictures of a Guitar with this deep & glossy finish is a real Bear!! Thats the top of my head in picture 7. The Strat Plus Deluxe is a model that is no longer in production (1989 - 1998 ?) While this guitar was in production it ( along with its sisters, the Plus , & Ultra ) was the nicest Stratocaster that Fender built, short ... Click for more info
