THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AT MY AUCTION - now to the details..Fender Telecaster 1952 salute to Keith Richards' main stage and studio axe: MICAWBER. (By the way, the name MICAWBER comes from a fictional character by one of Keith’s favorite authors, Charles Dickens). You can hear Micawber on Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, Jumpin Jack Flash, to name a few. This guitar is exclusively made by Fender Japan, which offers excellent quality and craftsmanship. This beautiful Telecaster is in very good condition. The body is made of Swamp Ash in a beautiful blonde Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish. The guitar plays very fast and its tone is incredible. Featured at the neck is a Fender Dragster Neck Humbucker reversely installed, as per Keith's, the bridge position holds a Schecter Single Coil pickup in a 6 saddle brass bridge. This Micawber is a Made In Japan O-serial which dates it to 1993. The pickup switch selector has a white Stratocaster knob. All original specs are detailed, including neck shape, fingerboard radius, hardware, pickups and electronics.
