This is an extremely beautiful guitar -- rare and in excellent shape. No wear; kept up perfectly; recently set up by an expert luthier so the neck is perfect and the action is great while the frets are seated just right. The Les Paul acoustic electric offers remarkable acoustic sound when plugged into an amp -- that was the goal when Gibson made this guitar a decade ago in the custom shop. Only a relatively small number of these guitars were made so you are buying a collector's item as well as a superbly playable Les Paul with an extraordinary sound. But throughout this is a traditional Les Paul -- carved top, flame maple, ebony colored.  The bridge is carved into the top offering more vibration to the guitar. The 24.75 inch scale mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Pick up is L.R. Baggs with volume and tone controls on the rim. Top quality Kluson style tuners. The finish is transparent black lacquer that really brings out the wood tone. Everything works as if it is new. No marks, scratches or dents. A true black beauty without a mark on it. Original hardshell case. Gibson no longer offers the Les Paul acoustic. So it is rare and collectible.
