The Axcess is one of the most cutting edge guitars to come out of Gibson in a long time. Two of the biggest guitarists in the world have signature models based on the Axcess- Alex Lifeson & Neal Schon-so you know this has got the goods! The super lightweight mahogany body lets this beauty resonate naturally, giving you that great Les Paul tone with an added acoustic quality. The Gibson humbuckers grab this sweet tone and add that special PAF vibe. The 498 in the bridge position is one of the highest output humbuckers Gibson offers. This gives great tonal character while pushing the front end of your amp. What you end up with is the perfect tone for chunky rhythms and soaring leads. The 490 neck pickup brings classic Gibson good ness to the table. Thick, creamy sustain- perfect. When you need crystal cleans, the Axcess has you covered there as well. Each pickup coil taps off of its tone pot. When combined with the 3 way switch, there is a huge tonal palette to choose from. No tone is out of your reach. The neck here is the perfect blend of a 50's & 60's. Rounder than a 60's but less chunky than a 50's- falls perfectly into your hands. With a virtually non-existent neck heel- giving you unlimited access to all 22 frets. This is a monster player. The look here is cool and classy. Gun Metal Grey finish. Full binding, & chrome hardware. This Axcess is in excellent condition- some pick scratches on the top and some scratches on the back(pics)- typical.
