This is a MIM Telecaster (Sunburst) with a beautiful maple replacement neck (birdseye fretboard) which has been re-logo'd with Made in USA. It is clearly a Mexican Tele that someone chose to "upgrade" with a new logo. I didn't fall for it and neither would you, I'm sure. That being said, this is the best sounding Tele I've played. The pickups are very hot....more like the US models. The neck is maple with a glossy finish which looks nicer than the standard Mexican Telecasters and is set-up with very nice action and playability. It feels and sounds like the much more expensive US version but at a fraction of the price..... I've played a handful of shows with it and made one record (it performed very nicely), but have decided to splurge on a Jag.....It comes with an original hardshell Fender case with the old school latches (one of the latches is missing, but the case is still functional).It is a GREAT guitar for the price and the neck is a definite upgrade.
