Is there anything better than opening a brand new case to reveal a beautiful goldtop and the smell of vanilla-ish Lacquer that Gibson uses?I have to offer a brand new 2012 Gorgeous Gibson Les Paul Traditional Goldtop. The guitar is brand new and dead mint. It is unplayed (yes, somehow I refrained from plu gging this beauty in, but I might need intervention later).The top is super glossy and highly reflective. It's quite challenging to get photos of this guitar without everything in the room showing up in the reflection. The back is really cool showing the natural grain pattern and seems to me matched well on the neck as well. People harp on darkbacks, but in my opinion there is nothing better than a goldtop with a light back. They match so much better! I took the photos in natural light so no studio flash gimmicks here, just quality! Original case and all the paperwork is included.The pickups are 57/57 plus for unmatched clarity and bite. These are some of my favorite pickups on the planet. The 50's neck is nice and chunky, but not super fat.
