Up for auction is this Epiphone Korina V. I bought this guitar probably 3 years ago now with the intention of making templates for custom guitars. I bought it, made the templates, then put it under my bed and forgot about it. Finally last year after all that time, I was down to just two personal guitars, so I decided to pull it out and use it for different tunings. Other than some minor tarnish on the gold hardware, and the black plastics, the guitar is in perfect condition. There are no dings, scra tches, belt buckle rash, or otherwise on this guitar! The guitar is shown with an aftermarket (PRS) pickup in the bridge position, but I will be replacing that with the stock pickup. It's sound is full and thick with excellent sustain. Being Korina, it's fairly lightweight, but still balanced. The neck profile is a nice medium size, with medium/large frets. This is one of Epiphone's nicer models. I'd say a step below one of their Ellitist guitars, but still better than their LP Standards, and similarly priced guitars. Fretwork is also good, which can be an issue with Epiphones. Guitar comes with an authentic Gibson TKL case, also in perfect (but dusty) condition. These cases now run $150-$200 depending on where you buy them. Happy bidding! ... Click for more info
